These small bite sized scones are ridiculously tasty and being gluten, wheat and dairy free makes them a great allergen friendly treat for parties, desserts, lunch boxes (minus the cream!) - you name it! Who said allergen free baking couldn't be fun?!
You will need:
100g of gluten free self raising flour - doves farm is great!
50g of granulated sugar.
1 small egg.
25g of dairy free sunflower spread.
Rub the butter, flour and sugar together until lightly combined.
In a bowl beat the egg.
Add 2 tablespoons of your dairy free milk of choice, soya, rice, nut milks, etc.
Slowly add to the bowl, mixing until a thick biscuit like consistently is reached.
At this point you can add raisins, chocolate chips, etc if your allergies allow.
Spoon rough dessert spoon sized portions onto a lined baking sheet.
Cook for 7-9 minutes on 180c. Until lightly golden.
Add jam of your choice.
Don't forget the dairy free squirty cream!
Delicious!
